Why we use data
Marketplace integrity, safety and service.
- To create and manage rider accounts, profiles, memberships and listings.
- To show marketplace adverts, community posts, partner pages and event information.
- To allow buyers and sellers to communicate within the rules of the platform.
- To prevent fraud, misuse, spam, unsafe behaviour and dishonest listings.
- To protect marketplace integrity and help investigate genuine disputes.
- To review stolen-vehicle reports, listing reports and ownership concerns.
- To manage memberships, renewals, paid boosts, featured adverts, invoices and payment support.
- To send account, verification, password reset, enquiry, moderation and payment emails.
- To provide customer support and respond to privacy or safety requests.
- To meet legal obligations and keep the platform secure.
Depending on the purpose, we may rely on contract, legal obligation, consent where needed, legitimate
interests, or recognised legitimate interests for matters such as fraud prevention, marketplace integrity
and investigating suspected theft or misuse.
Private VIN verification
VIN and frame-number evidence is not public listing content.
Complete vehicle listings may require the seller to submit the vehicle VIN or frame number and a clear
photograph showing that number on the actual vehicle.
This is collected for fraud prevention, marketplace integrity, buyer and seller protection, and to help
investigate disputes, suspected theft, suspected fraud or misuse of the platform.
Where available, Stripe billing name and address details may be stored as supporting identity information
linked to a paid seller account and private vehicle verification record.
Full VIN/frame numbers and verification photographs must not be displayed on public adverts, profiles,
community posts, search results, public URLs or public media folders.
The system is designed so this evidence is not viewed as part of ordinary browsing. It may only be
accessed through restricted admin tools where there is a proper reason, such as review, fraud prevention,
marketplace integrity, a credible report, a genuine dispute or a legal requirement.
Two Wheel Trading does not claim ownership, legal control or official authority over VINs, frame numbers
or vehicle identities. Verification data is held as a private platform record to support safer trading.

Sharing
We do not sell verification data.
We do not sell private VIN verification data or make it available for public searches. Information may
be accessed by authorised Two Wheel Trading personnel only where needed to run, secure, review or
investigate the platform.
Access to full private verification evidence should require a proper review reason and be recorded in an
internal audit log.
Information may be shared where legally required, where reasonably necessary to investigate suspected
theft, fraud, misuse of the platform or a genuine vehicle dispute, or with trusted service providers
who help operate the website under appropriate safeguards.
We use service providers for areas such as hosting, email delivery and payments. For example, payment
checkout and billing information is handled through Stripe, and transactional emails may be sent through
our email provider. These providers should only receive the information needed to provide their service.
If you share a public advert, post or event to WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok or another external
platform, that external platform will handle that activity under its own privacy rules.
Retention
We keep data only for as long as there is a proper reason.
Account, listing, support and payment records are kept for as long as needed to provide the service,
comply with legal duties, resolve disputes and protect the marketplace.
Private VIN/frame verification records are kept for 90 days after a sale is marked as completed, unless
the information is reasonably needed for an active dispute, suspected fraud, suspected theft, misuse
investigation, legal requirement or platform safety review.
Public posts, messages, listings and account records may be kept while the account or related marketplace
activity remains active, and for a reasonable period afterwards where needed for safety, dispute handling,
accounting, fraud prevention or legal reasons.
Your rights
You can ask about your data.
You may have rights to access personal data held about you, ask for incorrect information to be corrected,
ask for deletion where the law allows it, object to certain processing, restrict certain processing, or
ask for data portability where relevant.
Some requests may require identity checks. Some information may need to be kept where required for fraud
prevention, marketplace integrity, legal obligations, an active dispute or platform safety.
