Genuine adverts
Only advertise what you have the right to sell.
Every advert must be genuine, accurate and connected to a real item. Sellers must not advertise stolen
vehicles, cloned bikes, fake stock, misleading parts, copied photos or anything they do not have the
right to sell.
If there is a known issue, say it. A clean marketplace is worth more than a quick sale.
Selling tools are for members with the right access level. Free accounts can preview the platform, but
they cannot publish sale adverts.
Vehicle details
Give buyers the facts.
- Use the correct make, model, year, engine size and category.
- Be clear about condition, hours, mileage, service history and known faults.
- State whether the vehicle is road registered, off-road only, damaged, repaired or a project.
- Do not hide finance, ownership problems, stolen history or identity concerns.
- Do not claim “verified”, “mint”, “race ready” or “full history” unless you can back it up.
Complete vehicle adverts may require private VIN/frame-number evidence before they can be reviewed or
published. That private evidence is not shown on the public advert.
Photos
Use clear, honest images.
Photos should show the actual vehicle, part, trailer or gear being sold. Use recent photos where possible,
show key angles, and include damage or wear that a buyer would reasonably want to know about.
Do not use another seller’s photos, manufacturer photos as if they are your own item, heavy filters that
hide condition, or images that misrepresent what is included.
Public advert photos, event images and shop item photos should be safe to display publicly. Do not upload
sensitive documents, private VIN evidence or personal paperwork as public listing photos.
Communication
Keep buying and selling inside the platform.
Seller contact should follow membership rules and marketplace guidance. Do not pressure buyers to avoid
the site, bypass checks or rush payment before they are satisfied.
Two Wheel Trading does not take payment for the item being sold. Buyers and sellers agree payment,
collection, delivery and receipts directly between themselves.
Community ride talk should stay public. Direct messages are for genuine buying and selling.
Featured adverts and boosts
Paid visibility still has to follow the rules.
Featured vehicles, featured shop items, featured posts and promoted events are extra visibility tools.
They do not approve bad adverts, guarantee a sale or allow misleading content.
If a boosted advert is marked as sold, removed, reported, or found to break the rules, it can be taken
out of featured areas.
Not allowed
These will get listings removed.
Stolen goods Any stolen vehicle, part, trailer or equipment.
Fake adverts Non-existent stock, copied adverts or bait pricing.
Hidden identity issues Removed, altered, covered or suspicious vehicle details.
Unsafe pressure Pushing buyers into rushed payment or unsafe meetings.
Misleading claims False dealer status, false history or false verification claims.
Spam Repeated duplicate adverts, irrelevant posts or off-topic promotion.
Dealers and businesses
Trade sellers must be clear.
Dealers, traders and businesses must not pretend to be private sellers. Business sellers should use the
correct seller type and make sure pricing, descriptions, warranties, returns and consumer information are
handled properly.
Pro Seller tools and promoted seller posts are designed for regular sellers, dealers and off-road brands,
but they still need to follow the same honesty rules.
Reports
If something feels wrong, report it.
If you suspect theft, fraud, false ownership, a cloned vehicle or a dishonest advert, report it with calm,
factual information. Do not confront anyone or put yourself at risk.
